Attended UNM in 1980, worked various jobs in Austin, Texas in 1981 and attended Montana State in 1982. I joined the Air Force in 1983 and it was the best decision I ever made. I had a great job as an air traffic controller (thanks to Ronald Reagan) and great assignments. I spent 2 years at RAF Bentwaters, England and 4 years at Tyndall AFB in Panama City, Florida. At Tyndall, I met my husband Robert. We married, were both hired by the FAA and move to Albuquerque in 1990. I have been an air traffic controller since 1983. We have 2 fantastic boys who keep us extremely, non-stop busy with year round sports. (plus my husband Robert has coached football for 11 years) The fireball of our house is our daughter Neelah, 5. (She became part of our family through adoption 3 years ago). She has more energy than all the rest of us put together and always keeps us smiling. What a blessing!! I am now retired from the FAA and we moved to Placitas. I was super bored being retired so now I make CBD products for a friends business and an the Regional Market and Events Coordinator for Orangetheory Fitness, Albuquerque and Santa Fe.
